Sustainability Marketing Manager

Location: Toronto, ON / Remote

Reports to: VP Sales and Marketing

Our mission is to empower companies of all sizes and sectors to achieve sustainable performance. We are seeking a Sustainability Marketing Manager with education or experience in the sustainability field to help us generate leads and build brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Generation: Develop and implement effective demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and conversions for the ensogo platform.
  • Google Ads Management: Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to maximize ROI and ensure effective targeting and budget utilization.
  • SEO Optimization: Utilize Google Search Console and other SEO tools to enhance website visibility, improve search rankings, and drive organic traffic.
  • HubSpot Management: Leverage HubSpot for inbound marketing and lead generation. Support Sales with email marketing campaigns, lead nurturing workflows, and marketing automation.
  • Content Calendar Management: Plan, develop, and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic content output across all digital channels.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee the company’s social media accounts, creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and interacting with followers to build a strong online presence.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.


  • Experience: Proven experience in digital marketing, specifically in demand generation, Google Ads, Google Search Console, HubSpot, and WordPress. Experience with digital marketing for SaaS companies is required.
  • Education/Field Experience: Educated or experienced in the sustainability field or a directly related area.
  • Industry: Experience with demand generation for SaaS companies that sell to sustainability, EHS, regulatory compliance, or other related fields.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, content marketing, and social media strategies. Ability to create and manage content calendars.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, Google Search Console, HubSpot, WordPress, and social media management tools.
  • Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create compelling and engaging content for different audiences.
  • Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing sustainability-related products or platforms.
  • Certification in Google Ads and HubSpot.
  • Proficiency with other digital marketing tools and platforms, such as SEMrush and Ahrefs.
  • Fluency in French is preferred.
  • Residence in the Greater Toronto Area.
